Orissa Government has suspended five policemen, including an ASI in the controversial Nun rape case in Kandhamal for dereliction of duty.

Wipro BPO to set up a Shared Services Centre in Brazil for AmBevWipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro, has informed that its Business Process Outsourcing division, Wipro BPO, is setting up a Shared Services centre in Curitiba, Brazil for AmBev.

AmBev is the biggest private company for consumer goods in Brazil and the biggest brewer for Latin America. The Company was created on the 1st of July of 1999, in association with brewers Brahma and Antarctica.

UTI MF introduces ‘Fixed Term Income Fund Series V-VIII’UTI Mutual Fund, the country's oldest fund house has introduced ‘UTI Fixed Term Income Fund Series V-VIII’, a close-ended income scheme in the market.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate regular returns by investing in portfolio of fixed income securities normally maturing in line with the maturity period of the plan.

The scheme will invest up to 5-100% in debt including securitized debt and 0-95% in money market instruments. The scheme may invest up to 100% in the securitized debt.
