Motorola, Pressmart Bring ‘Live News’ Service On Cell PhonesMotorola India Pvt Ltd has joined hands with Pressmart Media Ltd in order to launch the live ‘news-on-the-mobile’ service on cellular phones.

The newly announced service will be available on three Motorola handsets including Moto VE66, Motosurf A3000 and MotoROKR EM35.

Through this new service (news-on-the-mobile), users can have access to branded news content, which is powered by Pressmart.

A source on the unit said, “Bipasha made sure that her knee pain didn’t affect her work schedule.”

The strong lady, who was advised to take complete bed rest, attended rehearsals on a regular basis, and then between the breaks gave a quick visit to her physiotherapist.

India Adds 15.41 Mln Mobile Users In January 09Indian telecom industry has added a record number of customers during the last month (Jan 2009).

The industry said that it added 15.41 million telephone connections during Jan 2009, which is the largest increase in a single month.

In a major announcement, TRAI said that presently it has more than 400 million telecom connections, as against December 2008’s total of 384.76 million.

With this, the overall number of people using mobile phones in India has gone up to 362.30 million, as compared to the 233.63 million during January 2008.
