CDs supposed to be having Haj information, have Hindi film instead!

Lahore, Nov 2 : Quite to the surprise to many, a Hindi movie was erroneously dubbed on CDs supposed to be containing Haj-related information.

The error was detected only when they landed in the hands of the ultimate users.

The CDs were forwarded to all four provincial offices and travel agents across the country. They were recorded at a private firm in Rawalpindi.

Each CD cost the pilgrims Rs 50.

Some of these CDs, bought from a stall at the Haji camp in Karachi, contained an Indian film, confirmed Karachi Haj Director Abdul Sattar Sameeto.

“I have informed the ministry about the CDs,” the Daily Times quoted Sameeto as saying in a TV interview.

Washington, Nov 2 : Frequent urination at night can help protect against bladder cancer, says a new study.

A team of Spanish and American scientists suggests direct association between the number of times people get up at night to urinate and protection against bladder cancer.

Juan Alguacil, a researcher from the University of Huelva and one of the authors, suggest that night-time is usually the period during which there is the longest time interval between urination.

“The length of time carcinogenic agents, such as those from tobacco for example, are present in the urine, constitutes an important factor towards the likelihood of developing bladder cancer,” Science Daily quoted Alguacil as saying.

British newspaper 'The Daily Telegraph' reported that 42% of surfaces in the homes found traces of rhinovirus. The findings are based on experiment of Scientists at the University of Virginia. They have tested the homes of 30 people who were suffering from cold.
