Ace Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan will finally get his delayed Malaysian "knighthood" on December 6 from Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob. The actor will receive his Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) award at a ceremony at 10am at Dewan Seri Negri, Ayer Keroh.

Earlier, Khan was expected to arrive here on November 29 to receive the “Datukship” title. But due to the tight working schedule of the Indian actor, the state has decided to honor him next month.

London, Nov 25 : Musician Paul McCartney has likened reality television to a car accident – as both invoke compulsive viewing.

The ‘Hey Jude’ hitmaker admitted that he himself watches it.

"I''m not very keen on it. I watch it like everybody. It''s compulsive viewing but so is a traffic accident,” The Telegraph quoted McCartney, as saying.

The ex-Beatle said shows like the X Factor don’t actually ‘encourage’ musical creativity.

"I think there is too much of it. You can''t turn on the telly without somebody being judged by four people, whether they are on ice, or on the stage or in the jungle,” he added.

Melbourne, Nov. 25 : Some officials of Cricket Australia and Australian rugby league and cricket players believe that beleaguered cricket star Andrew Symonds is too loud and arrogant, and therefore, prefer to keep their distance from him.

According to The Courier Mail, it happened to Symonds at Brisbane’s Normanby Hotel on Sunday when several Kangaroo players decided Symonds was an incident waiting to happen and moved on to other company.

Lahore, Nov 25 : Pakistan cricket coach Intikhab Alam has reportedly backed fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar to play a crucial role in the home series against India in January, saying he still had a few years of international cricket left in him.

According to The Age, a statement released on Tuesday shows Cricket Australia''s enthusiasm to move quickly on the incident which occurred at a Brisbane hotel on Sunday night as Symonds was celebrating Australia''s 149-run win over New Zealand in the first Test at the Gabba.

Washington, Nov 25: Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the hit movie ‘Sex and the City’.

However, she and writer/director Michael Patrick King are struggling with the storyline.

Parker told U. S. news show Access Hollywood that there are plans to shoot the new instalment next summer (09), once a script has been selected.
