One case, referred to the court by Justice Clarence Thomas after Justice David Souter had rejected it, argues that because Obama''s father was a citizen of Kenya, at the time a British colony, the president-elect was born with dual citizenship.

Woman finds job after putting ''self up for sale online''

New Delhi, Dec 8 : A jobless woman landed a job after putting "herself up for sale" on an online auction site.

The 23-year-old woman lost her job due to economic recession and has now got new one for a monthly pay of 3,000 yuan, reports China Daily.

She used the false name of tony615_2007 to "post herself" on Taobao. com''s website on Nov 18.

She revealed that nearly a dozen of companies contacted her and one of them is expected to sign a contract with her today.

In the statement posted on Taobao. com, tony615_2007 said she majored in business administration last year with excellent marks. She scored 710 in GMAT and won the first prize in a national English contest for university students.

Climate change may have claimed first mammal extinction in form of Australian possum

Global warmingWashington, Dec 8 : A team of scientists has claimed that a white possum native to Queensland’s Daintree forest in Australia has become the first mammal to become extinct due to man-made global warming.

According to a report in ENN (Environmental News Network), the white lemuroid possum, a rare creature found only above 1000m in the mountain forests of far north Queensland, has not been seen for three years.

The possum has not been sighted in any night time spotlighting expedition since 2005.
