New Delhi, Dec 8 : Hollywood actress Eva Mendes, who is dating producer George Gargurevich, thinks belonging to a man is sexy.

The ‘Trust The Man’ actress stated that although she is career-oriented she loves being looked after by her beau, and life would be boring without belongingness.

"The flip side to this strong career woman you see is a woman who loves being her man''s woman. It''s just sexy to belong to a man,” Eva said.

"Of course, we don''t belong to anyone but ourselves, but how boring. There''s a certain part of me that''s like, ''Please take care of me''. It''s just a natural thing. But I''m not sure if every woman has it,” Eva added.

EU parliament urges Pakistan to extradite terrorists, end infiltration

European UnionBrussels , Dec. 8 : In a written declaration, the European Parliament has called on the Government of Pakistan to take immediate action to extradite to India leaders of the Khalistan and other terrorist groups who acknowledge their role in terrorist activities in India.

It has also called on Islamabad to stop all cross-border infiltration and take immediate measures to reform the teaching imparted in madrassas; adding that President Asif Ali Zardari needs to monitor this reform process personally.

Wife in the soup for setting husband''s genitals on fire

Melbourne, Dec 8 : A woman allegedly set her husband''s genitals on fire while he was sleeping.

The incident has left the husband with burns to 85 percent of his body.

According to AdelaideNow, Rajini Narayan, 44, appeared briefly in Adelaide Magistrates Court, charged over the fire at her family''s home in Unley.

The fire left Satish Narayan with terrible burns and prosecutor Senior Sergeant Bruce Faehrmann said the injuries could prove fatal.

"(Mr Narayan) was set on fire ... his condition has deteriorated to the extent that he has 85 percent burns," News. com. au quoted him, as saying.

"It is possible that he may not survive so the charges may be reviewed," he added.

Biomarker for early detection of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease identified

FinlandWashington, Dec 8 : Researchers in Finland say they have identified the first potential "biomarker" that could be used in development of a sputum test for early detection of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a condition that causes severe difficulty in breathing — most often in cigarette smokers.

Vuokko L. Kinnula and colleagues point out that until now, no disease marker for COPD currently exists, despite extensive efforts by scientists to find one.

Previous studies pointed to a prime candidate — surfactant protein A (SP-A), which has a major role in fighting infections and inflammation in the lung.
