London, Dec 12 : An arrow-shooting game turned almost fatal for a schoolboy archer, who had a narrow escape after being shot through the eye by a friend.

The arrow went straight through 11-year-old sharp shooter Liu Cheong''s eye socket, passing completely through his head and was only stopped by the back of his skull.

"If the arrow had been shot with just a bit more force, it would have come out the back of his head," The Telegraph quoted doctors at Jida Hospital in Changchun, eastern China, as saying.

It was only because the arrow had miraculously missed his brain that the boy is still alive.

London, Dec 12: American film director George Lucas has revealed that he will be staging his epic saga Star Wars at a stadium in London.

Lucasfilm has authorised ‘Star Wars: A Musical Journey’, which is a retelling of the story with excerpts of the film combined with live orchestral accompaniment.

According to producers for the show, which is premiering in Britain, though actors will be used to narrate the story, it will definitely not be a stage musical.

Washington, Dec 12 : It was not just Barack Obama who promised his daughters a puppy if he stuck it out through the presidential election - Vice President-elect Joe Biden too was given the same word by his wife, it has emerged.

According to a local newspaper report, Biden picked out a German shepherd pup last weekend from a breeder near his Delaware home.

Biden was promised the post-election dog by Jill, who would tape pictures of different dogs on the back of the seat in front of Biden on his campaign plane, according to reports.

Washington, Dec 12: It seems that actress Jennifer Aniston was quite aware of growing love between her ex husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The Friends star revealed that Angelina’s announcement that she fell for Pitt while he was still married has "confirmed" her suspicions at the time.

The ‘Changeling’ star had recently admitted she fell for Pitt during the making of ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ in 2005 movie - when the actor was still married.
