In an interview with W in the annual "A-List" February issue, Pitt said that Jolie, who was his co-star in ‘''Mr. & Mrs. Smith'', had no hand in breaking up his marriage with Jennifer Aniston.

"What people don''t understand is that we filmed [''Mr. & Mrs. Smith''] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up," The New York Post quoted him as saying.

Melbourne, Jan 7 : Aussie beauty queen Jennifer Hawkins has managed to get on the nerves of some of her new Coogee neighbours with her all night partying.

Hawkins, 25, who paid 2.2 million dollars for her new pad in Sydney in November and moved in last month, has been having fun non-stop during the festive season.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a neighbour, who has had enough of the noise, said that he was organising a meeting with other concerned citizens, especially after the latest party ended at 6am, with the police being called in to quieten things down.

Centre promises naxal-hit states full support to combat menace

New Delhi, Jan 7 : The government has offered its full support to states grappling with the Maoist problem.

In a meeting with Home Minister P. Chidambaram here today, Chief Ministers of seven states - Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal, severely affected by Maoist violence put forth their problems and were assured of support, both in terms of development and security.

The meeting comes a day after a conference of all state chief ministers, where Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called for adopting a proper strategy to deal with the Maoist problem, described as the country''s biggest internal security threat.
