Suicide bomb kills policeman, injures two Iraqis in Falluja Baghdad - A suicide bomber blew himself up on Friday, killing a policeman and wounding two tribal chief guards in the western Iraqi province of Anbar, according to a police source.

The attack targeted the house of Sheikh Talib al-Hassnawi al- Issawi, head of Albu-Eissa tribe, west of Falluja city, the source told the Voices of Iraq news agency. The two injured Iraqis were guards of al-Issawi.

"We are still trying to get a sense of exactly what the situation is and what happened," said US Ambassador Kathleen Stephens after a meeting with diplomats in Seoul.

The US government and US diplomats were trying to secure the release of the two women, "who do seem to be held in some way," Stephens said. "So we will hope for the best."
