Paraguayan President Lugo admits he fathered 2-year-old Asuncion, Paraguay - Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo publicly admitted Monday that he fathered an illegitimate who is now 2 years old, in the wake of a legal complaint filed by the boy's mother. "It is true that there was a relationship with Viviana Carrillo, I take every responsibility that might derive from that event, admitting to being the boy's father," Lugo said in a press conference at the government palace in Asuncion.

The boy was conceived while Lugo was a Roman Catholic bishop and therefore under a vow of celibacy.

ThailandBangkok - Two men were killed in the Thai capital after anti-government protestors clashed with residents near their main rally site on Monday night, said reporters at the scene. As the city braced for a final army move against protestors who closed down much of the city over the weekend, so-called Red Shirts fired shots at people not far from the main rally site. Two male residents, aged 54 and 19, were killed and a dozen injured, said a government spokesman on television. A member of a medical foundation also confirmed the deaths in local press reports.

Addressing a press conference here, Malik said the DNA report of Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone survivour attacker of Mumbai attacks, was same as slain terrorist Mohammad Ismail.

YemenSana'a, Yemen - A Dutch couple has been freed by kidnappers, two weeks after they were taken at gunpoint by tribesmen in Yemen, according to mediators involved in negotiations for their release. Mediators involved in negotiations over several days said Jan Hogendoorn, 54, and his wife Heleen Janszen, 49, had on Monday night been allowed to leave the tribal area where they were held.

They made their way to the capital Sana'a, accompanied by officials from Sana'a province.
