Currently, PNB in association with IDBI Capital Market Services, offers online securities trading services to its clients through 139 branches spread across 60 centres all over the country.

UK cops discover bags of sugar in suspect terror hideoutLondon, Apr. 14 : A search of the homes of 11 terror suspects has revealed the presence of bags of sugar — a common ingredient used for making home-made bombs.

According to The Sun, sugar can be mixed with chemicals to create an explosive for use in bombs and grenades.

Scientists were last night analysing it to determine if it was a secret bomb ingredient.

Qazi courts start functioning in NWFP’s Malakand region

PakistanIslamabad, Apr. 14 : Qazi courts have started functioning with full authority following the National Assembly’s nod to implement the sharia law in the Malakand division, The News reports.

The sharia courts were already functioning in Barrikot, Kabal, Matta, Khawazakhel, Bahrain and Babuzai tehsils of Swat from March with limited authority, but after the approval of Nizam-e-Adl regulation they now have full authority to decide over different matters.

No free tea or coffee for staff at IBM offices from May 1Melbourne, Apr 14 : IBM worldwide has begun cost cuts in order to battle the effects of the global financial crisis and will scrap office amenities such as tea and coffee, and even company-funded home internet access.

From May 1, IBM will cease to reimburse Internet access for staff working from home. Direct pay corporate managed and contracted home Internet services will also be scrapped.

"IBM will cease the reimbursement of home internet access for employees," The Australian quoted the company, as saying in an email to staff.
