Accused thrown out of court in German terrorism trial Dusseldorf - One of the four men accused of a major Islamist terrorist plot in Germany was thrown out of court Tuesday for disturbing the courtroom proceedings with interjections. "I want to go back to my cell," Adem Yilmaz, 30, a Turkish citizen raised in Germany, called out at the start of the day's proceedings. He was duly ordered out of the courtroom. Yilmaz hugged his co- accused on the way out.

Mumbai court rules that Kasab is not a minor as per medical reportsMumbai, Apr 28 : A special court here today ruled that Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone survivor of the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, is not a minor.

The court ruling was based on ossification and blood tests submitted to it. The reports claim that Kasab is aged above 20 years.

The medical reports have been handed over to Special Public Prosecutor Ujwal Nikam, who continues to demand that he would like to examine two witnesses.

Five police, twelve Taliban killed in latest Afghan violence Kabul - An Afghan police official and 12 Taliban militants were killed near Kabul city, while four other policemen were killed by a roadside bomb in the eastern region, officials said Tuesday. The chief of the criminal section for the Mosayee district of Kabul province was killed by during a police operation in the district on Monday, an interior ministry statement said.

It said 12 armed Taliban were killed by Afghan forces in the combat about 15 kilometres south of Kabul city.
