Bangalore, Apr 28: After P. Chidambaram, Naveen Jindal, Lal Krishna Advani and Manmohan Singh, it was the turn of Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa to experience the ‘Shoe-Gate’.
Yeddyurappa became the latest target of a ‘footwear missile’ on Tuesday when a slipper was hurled at him while he was addressing an election meeting in Channarayapatna in Hassan District. The place is about 150 kilometers from Bangalore.
The slipper fell far from the dais and the man who threw it was nabbed by police and charged with assault.
