Burglars steal jewellery worth $2M from Paris Hilton’s homeWashington, December 20 : Hotel heiress Paris Hilton's home was robbed in the early hours of Friday morning, while she was partying at a bar in Hollywood with singer Katy Perry and blogger Perez Hilton.

A security guard at the residence has revealed that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced open the front door and ransacked Hilton''s bedroom, reports Fox News.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the robbery at Hilton's home in a gated community in the Sherman Oaks neighbourhood took place at around 5 a. m.

McCready, 33, ended up being hospitalised at a Nashville hospital on December 17 after she was found by her other brother Timothy lying on the bed in a pool of blood.

According to the brother, McCready appeared intoxicated when he checked on her, after she made a bizarre call to her mother earlier in the evening after a night out.

His music label is not only profiting from X Factor winner Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah, but also from rights to the legendary version by Jeff Buckley, and the original by veteran songwriter Leonard Cohen, 74.

All three tracks are among the top ten, with insiders saying Burke, 20, is at No 1, Buckley at No 2 and Cohen in the Top 10.

The `Glory Daze' actor jovially stated at the press conference for his short flick `Gimme Shelter', which highlights the plight of families in war-torn Congo, that Angelina is not high profile enough to grab the attention.

"UNHCR has to find a goodwill ambassador who will get the attention of the president because the woman they''ve got is not high profile enough," US Weekly quoted Ben, as saying.
