London, Apr 25 : A Japanese pop singer, arrested for public indecency, after he was found drunk and naked in a Tokyo park has apologized to his fans for his "shameful" conduct.

Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 34, who was arrested on April 23 from the park, had allegedly been sitting on the grass, undressed and heavily intoxicated from 10 glasses of Japanese rice wine and beer.

"I drank a lot and did not know what I was doing," the BBC quoted Kusanagi as saying on April 24 after being released by police.

“He on drip. No food allowed. Na ghar ka na hospital ka…and still he’s constantly on the phone discussing and confirming my prior engagements. He’s very clear on one thing. Jade Goody's widower is allegedly being shifted to Edmunds Hill, Suffolk from Chelmsford jail, Essex after receiving threats.

The 21-year-old had been found guilty of attacking a taxi driver after losing his drunken temper over the fare and had been subsequently sentenced to 12 weeks in jail.
