Automotive giant, Fiat India might be planning to launch its Turbo-Jet Fiat Linea model again this June in the country.

The new Linea T-Jet will be powered by imported 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine that will offer power output of 118 bhp and a high torque output of 207 Nm. The new engine in the front wheel driven car will come with a
5-speed manual gearbox. The company will also offer disc brakes on all the four wheels offering greater control of the high power and torque.

It is believed that the company might begin production of the model in May and launch the model through its dealerships in the month of June. The Linea T-Jet was the first Turbo engine petrol vehicle in India but it was not able to attract high number of customers in the country. The company is also likely to produce the 2013 versions of the Punto and the Linea during the month of June.

Fiat India has launched an aggressive marketing campaign to revive the vehicle and increaseteh sales of the model. Fiat is looking to expand its presence in the Indian market with a number of new models, variants and dealerships during the current financial year.
