Explosion in Russia leaves 6 people dead
An investigator has said that a handmade explosive device detonated in southern Russia Wednesday evening, killing at least six people.
It has been reported that a regional investigator told the Russian news agency RIA Novosti the explosion outside Stavropol's House of Culture and Sport, before a Chechen band concert, also injured more than 42 people.
The investigator said that the bomb was made of about a half-pound of TNT.
Yekaterina Danilova further said, "According to preliminary information a self-made explosive device went off. It was either remote controlled or equipped with a timer and placed into an empty box of juice." (With Inputs from Agencies)
