Etisalat DB Telecom signs 5 year agreement with Tech Mahindra, Aegis, ConfluxTelecommunications major Etisalat DB Telecom has announced that it has entered into 5 year outsourcing pacts with Tech Mahindra, Aegis as well as Conflux.

The sources informed that the company has invested Rs 750 crore for the agreements in order to speed up Etisalat DB Telecom’s forthcoming launch of telecom services in the country.

As per the terms of agreement, BPO providers—Tech Mahindra, Aegis and Conflux, have decided to establish high-tech call centers with the aim to offer a host of customer management services comprising billing, collections, customer service as well as retention amongst others.

The centres will also handle the complete management of back office processes. All the centres will be connected to each other so that the telecom company can offer a single point of contact to its clientele.

Moreover, customers can have access to the contact center thru e-mail, chat as well as  SMS besides voice calls.

Etisalat DB Telecom is a joint venture between Etisalat and Dynamix Balwas Group.

As per official sources, Tech Mahindra will control Etisalat DB’s services in north and south India; whereas west and central India services will be handle by Aegis.

Sources added that Conflux would be responsible for servicing customers in Bihar.
