‘Ek Hasina Thi’ Is My First Song Without Any Nasal Twang, Says Himesh Reshammiya
Ace Bollywood singer, Himesh Reshammiya said that ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ is the first song that he sung without nasal voice.
Himesh said, “Yes, the song 'Ek Haseena Thi' is the first song I have sung without any nasal twang. Since it was a Kishore Kumar song, I did not change its style.”
“Normally, I sing songs in high octave. That gives it a nasal twang, but for this song, I sang in medium octave,” he explained.
‘Karzzzz’, a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1980 blockbuster ‘Karz’, is slated for an October 17 release.
‘Ek Haseena Thi’ would be the only song taken from the original movie.
“I have composed the other seven songs in the film, which are very contemporary,” he said.
Sharing his frustration on being on a strict diet, he said that it is really difficult for him to give up his love for pizzas and ice-creams.
He also disclosed that the same frustration of being on dieting led him to create the song ‘Tandoori Nights.’
When asked whether it is simple or tricky to write music for his personal films, he answered, “It is very challenging and risky. The responsibility lies on my shoulders entirely.”
Previously, Himesh also announced that he would compose only for his own films.
While talking of the remake movie, he said the producers have kept the original film 'intact'.
“The story, characters and many scenes are the same. But in the second half of the film, there is a twist,” he said.
