Dutch pranksters superglue iPhone 5 to Amsterdam sidewalk

Dutch pranksters superglue iPhone 5 to Amsterdam sidewalkAfter purchasing a new iPhone 5, a Dutch group of pranksters - employees at website called iPhone5. nl - superglued the handset to an Amsterdam sidewalk to have some fun time seeing the reaction of the people.

With the iPhone 5 hitting The Netherlands on Friday, the iPhone5. nl team managed to purchase one of the first units of the handset; and rather than showing off their enviable tech possession by walking around with it, they glued it to the pavement in the Leidseplein, one of the busiest squares in Amsterdam.

Furthermore, to catch the people's reaction to the much-desired iPhone 5 seemingly lying on the sidewalk, the pranksters also set up a video camera nearby which captured all the actions of the oblivious passers-by who tried all their might to pick up the strongly-glued smartphone.

With people failing to pick up the superglued £500- priced iPhone 5 from the sidewalk in spite of their best efforts, the camera captured all their reactions --- excitement, anticipation, feeling stupid, and frustration!

While most of the people stopping by to pick the iPhone 5 giggled and ran off immediately when they realized that the handset was glued to the ground; a few even stamped and kicked on it in their attempts to unglue the smartphone from the pavement!
