Ducon Technologies Inc. - Ducon has announced that it has bagged a prestigious contract from Indian public sector company Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).

The order has been awarded to the company for a limestone based Flue gas Desulfurization (FGD) system for 3 x 250 MW thermal power plant.

The sources close to the company said that the power plant is being established by National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC), a leading Indian power company at Bongaigaon in India.

The sources further added that Ducon's Indian operation located in Thane, India will help in carrying out the turnkey project that entails complete engineering, supply, manufacture, erection supervision, commissioning and performance guarantees.

Ducon is a leading US based worldwide provider of the most advanced and custom engineered FGD systems, baghouses, electrostatic precipitators, SCR NOx systems to control emissions from power plants, refineries, steel plants and other industries.

Ducon also engages in supplying ash, coal, and other material handling and conveying systems.
