Diamond Power Infrastructure bags EPC Turnkey order

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL), formally known as Diamond Cables Limited has announced the receipt of EPC — Turnkey Order for Implementation of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna (RGGY) for Bhavnagar District of Gujarat.

The work for entire district RGGY in three lots has been awarded to the Company. The project will entail providing power to appex 21295 consumers resulting in setting up of 139 Transformer Centers and Erection and Commissioning of distribution lines aggregating 382 Kms.

The project is expected to be completed within 22 months from the date of Award. This project is in addition to the already existing contracts for Vadodara and Anand districts of Gujarat.    

Vadodra-based, Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited, a part of Essen Group of Industries, engages in the manufacture and distribution of power cables and conductors, and all aluminum alloy conductors in India.

The company had announced 25% decrease in net profit at Rs 10.41 crore for the quarter ended September, 2007. Its sales increased by 77% to Rs 90.91 crore.
