Diamond Power Infra secures EPC-Turnkey Order for RGGY
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL), a part of Essen Group of Industries has announced the receipt of EPC — Turnkey Order for Implementation of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna (RGGY) for Ahmedabad and Sabarkantha District of Gujarat.
The project will entail providing power to approximate 62000 consumers resulting in setting up of 322 Transformer centers and Erection and Commissioning of Distribution Lines aggregating 480 Kms.
This project is in addition to the already existing contracts for Vadodara, Anand, Bhavnagar District of Gujarat.
The project is expected to be completed within 22 months from the date of Award.
Vadodara-based, DPIL engages in the manufacture and distribution of power cables and conductors, and all aluminum alloy conductors in India. The company was formerly known as Diamond Cables. It had changed its name to Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited in October 2007.
The stock closed today at Rs 337 on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 340 and low of Rs 322.
The stock touched a 52-week high of Rs 599.20 on 1 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 125 on 5 April 2007.
