New Delhi, Nov 26 : Decision on injured Pakistani fast bowler Umar Gul will be taken in two-three days, skipper Shoaib Malik said here on Monday.

Speaking at the post-match press conference at the end of first Test match against India at the Ferozshah Kotla stadium, Malik said, ”A decision on Gul will be taken after he undergoes a fitness test in the next two-three days.”

Gul’s scan report was sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Medical Commission for evaluation.

A lot depends on the evaluation before a final decision is taken on the bowler’s inclusion in the team for the second Test, beginning November 30 in Kolkata.

Gul was ruled out of the first Test of the ongoing series due to a back injury.

Earlier, the Pakistan team management said that the decision to rest Gul was taken as a “precautionary measure.” (ANI)
