Darsheel Safary will be seen in remake of much-acclaimed Iranian film, Children of Heaven. Darsheel made his debut in Taare Zameen Par.

He mesmerized audience with his acting as a child affected by dyslexia in the movie. This movie will be made by Percept Pictures under direction of acclaimed director, Priyadarshan.
 
Joint MD, Percept Ltd, Shailendra Singh said, "For us, Children of Heaven has created history all over. A possible adaptation of that for the Indian audience is fantastic. Imagine Eiffel Tower coming to Flora Fountain. It's not a bad idea."

Children of Heaven was the first Iranian film to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign film. It was directed by renowned filmmaker Majid Majidi. Percept pictures haven’t finalized any name for the Indian adaptation of the film. No other actor has been finalized except the child actor. The company is planning to release the film by the first quarter of next year.
