Daily Indian Stock Market Outlook: FairWealth Securities Indian market traded almost flat, POWER AND REALITY STOCKS traded bullish while IT STOCKS appeared weak. SENSEX closed at 17941, up 5 points and NIFTY at 5366, down 2 points from the previous close. Both CNX MIDCAP index and BSE SMALLCAP index were up 0.5%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 730 against declines of 553 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included RELIANCE POWER, RCOM and SUZLON ENERGY while losers included HCL TECHNOLOGIES, CIPLA and MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA.

Next Day Trading Session:

In the next session we expect NIFTY to trade in the range 5320-5410. Traders are suggested to buy at declines as long as NIFTY is holding 5320 level. BANKING and TELECOM may attract buying while IT may face some more selling.

Biocon has announced that its subsidiary company Biocon SA has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the 49% equity stake held by CIMAB SA in Biocon Biopharmaceuticals (BBPL). BBPL will now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Biocon.

Munjal Auto Industries has announced that the company's new Greenfield Haridwar project, being the company's plant III, has started commercial operation from 31 March 2010. The project has been set up to cater to the increased requirement of existing customer and also to cater to new business and customers

Punj Lloyd has received two orders for an aggregate value of Rs. 235 crore. The company has secured the first order from Engineers India to construct a Petro Fluid Catalytic Cracking (PFCC) unit for phase III Refinery Project of Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals, Karnataka, a subsidiary of ONGC. The company has secured the second order from Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals for mechanical works for offsite for phase III Refinery Project at Mangalore, Karnataka.

During Q4 FY10, Simplex Infrastructures has secured Rs 2,166 crore new orders nearly double of Rs 1,116 crore for the same quater last year. This includes Rs. 1501 crore from domestic markets (69%) and Rs. 665 crore from overseas markets (31%).

Subhash Projects & Marketing has received letter of award on 01 April 2010 from the Chief Engineer
(Urban), Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for a value of Rs. 220 crore.

Ashiana Housing has launched phase-2 of its prestigious 6,87,470 square feet, group housing project 'Utsav' in Lavasa in Pune (Maharashtra). The phase-2 of Utsav Lavasa, consists of 128 units comprising a total saleable area of 1,24,180 sq. ft. out of which 52 units are available for sale.

Shriram EPC secured an order worth Rs 107 crore from Steel Authority of India for its Durgapur steel plant.
