Cologne has not lost in six straight matches, including a surprising 2-1 win against Bayern Munich last week.

Portuguese striker Petit put the hosts in front in the 14th minute. Chris Katongo equalized for Bielefeld just before the end of the first half.

The draw keeps Cologne in 10th place in the German football league. Arminia Bielefeld moves up one place into 14th. (dpa)
