Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive Company has acquired 75 per cent shareholding in CC Health Care Products Private Limited.

Hyderabad-based, Health Care Products is engaged in the manufacturing of toothpowder. The company has been manufacturing and supplying toothpowder to Colgate for past several years.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited engages in the manufacture and marketing of fast moving consumer goods in India and internationally. It primarily offers oral care and personal care products.

The company shares touched an intraday high of Rs 431 on the BSE after the news. It ended the day at Rs 429, up Rs 20 or 5% compared to the previous close of Rs 410.
