Li Keqiang, the Chinese Vice Premier met Britain's Labor Party leader Ed Miliband. During his speech, Li praised the steps taken by the Labor Party to follow a positive China Policy and assured that this step is going to help in building up of positive relations between UK and China.

He further added that the Labor Party has been making the efforts in this direction for a very long time and during the previous regime of the party the two countries had formed comprehensive strategic relationship between themselves.

Since then, a lot of progress has been made in this regard and that a common concern between the two sides that deals not only with economic and trade concerns.

He also expressed his optimism and said that he is sure that the party is going to play an active role in promotion and long-lasting relationship.

Miliband said that he just could not keep his eyes off the achievements that China has got and how it has grown as an economic power. He made it clear that Labor Party gives a lot of importance to the relationship that China and India share with UK.
