Beijing - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will attend a tripartite summit of China, Japan and South Korea, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced Thursday.

The summit, scheduled for December 13 in Fukuoka, Japan, will also bring together Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.

The leaders will exchange ideas on cooperation among the three countries, and regional and international issues of common concern, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told a press conference. (dpa)
