Chief Ministers to meet PM in Delhi today

Arun-JaitleyUnion Home Minister has called an important meeting of all Chief Ministers in New Delhi due to the increasing importance of security in the country.

During the meeting the decision was made to get serious with the Government's moves without coming across as being politically incorrect.

BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley said, "We have a deep concern over the vulnerable internal security situation in the country - the incidents in Assam, the continuing encounters in Poonch."

Actually, many Chief Ministers are upset with the tons of letters written by P Chidambaram informing the states be free of mafia gangs and land sharks and even control rooms to be arranged 24X7 without losing any time. The Janata Dal (United) for one is not taking this kindly.

All the Chief Ministers want is to set an NSG center in their state. However the Home Ministry wants to identify that why most of the states have not spent more than 40 % of their budget in strengthening policing. And even for the coastal states, the query is that why so little has been done to secure the coastline.
