C&C Constructions Ltd has secured an order worth Rs 574 crore from Infrastructure major Jaypee Associates Ltd for the construction and development of a four lane road from Zirakpur to Parwanoo, passing through the states of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

The contract from Jaypee Associates is the second EPC contract in HP for the company.  The company had previously bagged two orders worth Rs 202 crore from the Himachal Pradesh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd, which were under the World Bank aegis.

The project is expected to be completed by July 2010.

Gurgaon-based, C & C Constructions Limited operates as an infrastructure development company in India. The company engages in the construction of highways and airports; laying of optic fiber cables; and maintenance of telecom networks.

Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 13.50, or 7%, at Rs 210. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 3,380 (10.30 a.m., Wednesday)
