Apple releases new tool to remove U2's songs

AppleLondon, Sep 16 - Apple has released a tool to delete U2's new album Songs of Innocence from the users' iTunes account six days after the company started giving away the music for free.

Some users complained about automatic download of songs from U2's album to their devices.

According to the BBC, Apple's new tool to delete offers a one-click removal button.

U2 band members earlier offered their new album 'Songs of Innocence,' for free to 500 million users of Apple's iTunes.

U2 had collaborated with Apple in the past, however, the terms of the deal for the iTunes release are not known. (ANI)

OracleOracle Corp is likely to buy Micros Systems in a USD5 billion deal, expected to be announced as early as Monday morning, an international newspaper has reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The takeover would value Micros at more than USD67 a share, the newspaper said.

Micros Systems makes point-of-sale hardware and software for restaurants and hotels. Oracle has been rolling out its own cloud-based products and acquiring smaller cloud companies such as marketing software maker Responsys Inc.

The deal, if confirmed, would be Oracle`s largest acquisition since it bought Sun Microsystems for USD5.6 billion in 2009.
