Tata Indicom launches Country’s First CDMA ‘Dual channel Radio Phone’ Tata Indicom, the fastest growing telecom service provider, has announced the launch of the first ever CDMA AM/FM enabled mobile phone in the market.
 
The newly launched handset comes with a unique radio-inspired design with volume boosters for clarity of sound even in noisy environments. Other than FM frequency channels, the handset comes equipped with AM too, a first amongst CDMA phones.

Tata Daewoo develops LPG truck prototypeTata Motors, Country’s largest automobile company has informed that its Korean commercial vehicle subsidiary Tata Daewoo has developed the prototype of the 4.5 tonne LPG truck in association with the Korean government. 

The company quoted during a press release that the vehicle was developed by Tata Daewoo in association with the Ministries of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Korea Energy Management Corporation and a consortium of 12 organizations.

Tata Sky rolls out ‘Tata Sky+’, a set-top box with PVR TechnologyTata Sky Ltd., the JV between the TATA Group and STAR, has finally launched Personal Video Recorder technology in the market with the name of ‘Tata Sky+’. 
With the launch, Tata Sky becomes the first company to bring this technology in the country. 

The Tata Sky+ digicomp has MPEG 4 technology, a hard disk and an in-built personal video recorder (PVR). The box has ability to record up to 45 hours of live entertainment.

Tata Steel Global to pick 20% stake in Canadian FirmTata Steel, the world’s sixth-largest steel maker has informed that its Singapore-based wholly owned indirect subsidiary ‘Global Mineral Holdings’ has entered into a binding agreement with New Millennium Capital Corporation (NML).

Canada-based NML is a publicly owned mining company, which involves in exploration and development of iron ore properties. It operates 9.1 billion tonnes of NI 43-101 taconite mineral resources – 6.9 billion tonnes measured and indicated and 2.2 billion tonnes inferred.
