Buffalo has launched its new portable external hard drive, known as the ‘MiniStation 400 GB TurboUSB’ in the Indian market. The newly launched hard drive comes under ‘Ministation’ series.

Together with a wrap-around cable for easy storage, the new 5400rpm hard drive allows users to backup large amounts of information on the move. The users can access Buffalo’s TurboUSB technology in order to quicken file transfer rates and performance up to 64%.

The new HDD doesn’t necessitate a separate power supply as it gets power directly from PC. It also features ‘Plug-n-Play’ USB capabilities that let users to attach it to any USB 2.0 port on desktop, laptop or Buffalo network attached storage device where the software is loaded.

Its Secure Lock Ware (SLW) function helps drive and file encryption to save information with up to 256bit AES Encryption technology. The users can expand security traits with the multilingual Memeo Auto Backup software for Windows.

Furthermore, it also guarantees superior backup options comprising scheduled backup and password protection, in a number of different languages.

Buffalo’s MiniStation 400 GB TurboUSB is priced at Rs 15,000 along with two-year warranty, in the Indian market.
