State-run telecom major Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has made announcement that the company has linked up with IT products company Novatium Solutions to offer Nova netPC enabled with the BSNL broadband. 
 
According to sources, the key factor that will allow broadband penetration is an affordable computing access device and Nova netPC provides the customers to get home a personal computer at just Rs 2,999.

While commenting on the tie up, Mr. Kuldeep Goyal, BSNL chairman and managing director stated, “With our huge connectivity and infrastructure, BSNL hopes to give a new wind to the computing and broadband revolution in the country through bundling with products like Novatium netPC.”
 
According to the company officials, Nova netPC was an affordable and simple desktop which can be easily operated like any household appliance at the touch of a button. 

The officials further reveled that the company is eyeing at attaining a subscriber base of 125,000 in the country by the end of the financial fiscal.
