Athens - Hundreds of British couples are flocking to Greece over the summer to get married, with travel agencies offering "Mama Mia"-style weddings, reports said.

According to reports, more than 200 British couples have booked package deals for custom-made ceremonies in the same style seen in the hit romantic comedy "Mama Mia" featuring Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan.

Tourism officials have have said that many British couples are selecting from the islands of Skiathos or Skopelos where the hit film was largely shot.

Some of the couples are even requesting that Abba music accompany the celebration. (dpa)
