Baghdad - At least nine people were killed and 28 injured in a car bomb blast Saturday in the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar, police said.

The attack took place in the area of al-Maarid of Tall Afar, 60 kilometres west of Mosul, police told Voices of Iraq news agency. (dpa)
