The entrepreneur turned actor Boman Irani has a new task in hand.

The multi-talented actor will now become the face of the NGO 'AHEAD' that believes in theatre for a reason and activity for a meaning.

Boman was talking at the press conference of the same at The Leela's on Friday to show his strong link for the growth of the disable people.

At the meeting, the actor announced that there will be a fund raiser through a theatre performance that will take place on the 8th at Manik Sabhagriha in Bandra.

The play 'The Melody of Love' has veteran actor Tom Alter, Lillette Dubey, RJ Mantra and India's only National and Presidential award winner Divya Arora.

Divya who herself is disabled physically is the sole of the organization.

Divya thinks that lots of false pledges have been given for the growth and well being of the disables but nothing constructive has been done. This step of making Mr. Irani as the NGO's Brand Ambassador is giving a ray of hope she feels.

When asked why she selected Mr. Irani she was quick to reply, "Boman is very human. He is not only multitalented but also multifaceted. Most importantly he is self made. Boman Irani also has the power to influence change. He is a very approachable person with a human heart."

Boman who has the experience of acting in a theatre feels, "Today the audience has become very progressive they enjoy theatre equally as compared to cinema. In fact theatre is not only entertaining but also educative. People feel that my voice is inspiring and reaches the audience. That gives me the boost to come forward for such good deeds."
