BMW signs a sustainable innovation agreement with Dassault systemsThe leading German luxury carmaker, BMW recently entered into a five-year strategic agreement with Dassault Systemes, the world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Under the agreement, the R&D centres of both BMW and DS will work in synchronisation with each other.

While it not only the automaker to make its design and production process more efficient but will also help DS in making its services better by working with the company that's known for its high quality.

The two companies already have been working together for quite a long time now with DS advising the automaker in various design and production processes. Bruno Latchague, executive vice president, Dassault Systemes candidly admitted the fact that the company is very excited to work with BMW and will work towards designing and developing an environment friendly vehicle.

Bruno further added that both the companies will look at overcoming the challenges that the automotive industry is facing as of today. One cannot deny the fact that the necessity to produce greener products has forced several automakers to change their path and this agreement is perhaps another step is the same direction.
