BMW launches new 3 series for the Indian consumers
After dethroning Mercedes-Benz to become the market leader in the Indian luxury car market, BMW is in no mood to be complacent in its approach. The German luxury carmaker recently launched two new variants of the best selling BMW 3 Series; the new BMW 320d Corporate Edition (Diesel) and the new BMW 330i (Petrol).
"BMW 3 Series portfolio in India in both diesel and petrol variants is expanding in India. BMW 3 Series is unsurpassed when it comes to the highest standards of all-round quality, safety and perfection to ensure the highest levels of comfort and luxury," Peter Kronschabl, President BMW India said in a statement.
The new 3 series is already available for sale at the BMW India dealerships across the country. Carrying an elegant, sporty design coupled with the typical aggressiveness that BMW has, the new BMW 3 Series offers more than any of its competitors in the segment.
In fact, as the time passes, the fight for the top spot is going to get all the more intense among BMW, Mercedes-Benz and the fast caching up Audi India. But who'll reach the finish line first in 2010; we will certainly have to wait a little more for an appropriate answer.
