Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Adams win big at Golden Globes

Washington, Jan 12 - The winners of 72nd Golden Globes have been announced at a ceremony held in Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Maggie Gyllenhaal grabbed the Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries for 'The Honorable Woman' and Best Foreign Film is being awarded to Russian flick 'Leviathan', E! Online reported.

'Fargo' grabbed the award for the Best Miniseries, and the Lead Actor award went to Billy Bob Thornton for the same Miniseries.

J.K. Simmons has grabbed the Best Supporting Actor in Motion Picture award for 'Whiplash' whereas the Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries went to Joanne Froggatt for 'Downton Abbey'.

Lead Actress for a TV Comedy is won by Gina Rodriguez for 'Jane the Virgin'.

Best Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical has been won by Jeffrey Tambor and 'Transparent' won the award for the Best TV Comedy show.

Matt Bomer has won the award for Best Supporting Actor, TV for 'The Normal Heart'. ther winners include:
