Bharti bags two Telecom Leadership awardsBharti Airtel, the leading telecoms service provider in the country with presence across various countries, has bagged two prestigious awards at the Telecom Leadership Forum 2012.

The company was awarded QuEST Forum India Quality Award in the `Top Telecom Service Provider 2012' category for its commitment and efforts for providing the best experience to its customers. The company's India and South Asia CEO Sanjay Kapoor bagged the second award for the company as he was honored with the `Telecom Person of the Year 2012' title for his contribution to the telecom sector in the country.

The Telecom Leadership Forum 2012 was organized by Cybermedia Group and was held in the national capital New Delhi. Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah was the chief guest at the event and he gave away the awards to the winners.

The company said in a statement, "Bharti Airtel has been at the forefront of India's telecom revolution and is the 4th mobile service provider, globally, in subscriber numbers. In India, the company's product offerings include 2G, 3G and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, fixed line services, high speed DSL broadband, IPTV, DTH, enterprise services including national & international long distance services to carriers."

The QuEST Forum is aimed at improving operational and supply chain quality and performance. The forum is a unique platform for information and communication technologies (ICT) service providers and suppliers from across the world.
