Bglobal gets the approval for new smart meter
Bglobal Plc., an energy data company, said today that its new smart meter, the Bglobal Smart1, has got the approval of the regulators in UK.
The shares of the company rose today as the company announced that now it is able to deploy the smart meter in UK and European electricity markets.
Bglobal also said that it will work with Orange Network to deliver real time energy data.
Bglobal announced today that the regulators have approved its new smart meter Bglobal Smart1. The company said that it is planning to launch Bglobal Smart1 in UK markets by later this month.
Bglobal said that it installed more than 5000 smart meters in the month of March.
The company said that it had billed over 40000 meter installations in the year 2009, increasing by around 100% compared to the previous corresponding year.
Bglobal also said that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Orange Network, a telecom provider in UK. The company said that it will develop a range of new services for UK business and residential metering customers while working with Orange.
