Bankrupt Kerry Katona’s Christmas ‘budget’ revealed

London, December 13: Kerry Katona, who has been trying to sort out her finances after being declared bankrupt, has apparently tightened her budget for Christmas shopping.

The former ‘Atomic Kitten’, who had failed to pay up her 82,000-pound tax bill, is said to have set a credit limit of 15 pounds per person and is sending online greetings, saving 36p per card.

The singer has reportedly been spending her monthly Iceland allowance on 5-pound platters from the supermarket and was ‘obsessively’ controlling her electricity bills during the festive season.

“Kerry is tightening her belt this Christmas and is determined to make it her most economical,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The source added: “Despite dropping two dress sizes post-liposuction, she’s not been buying herself any new clothes, instead living in her old baggy tracksuits and jeans. She’s not sending traditional cards and is even recycling old envelopes. Kerry’s told friends and family it’ll be an Iceland buffet for Christmas dinner, and doesn’t want there to be any food wastage.

“She’s been turning off the heating and lights obsessively of late. The only people she’s willing to splash out on are husband Mark and her kids. Otherwise, December 25 in the Katona household will be like A Christmas Carol!” (ANI)
