ASUS Opens Service Centre In Delhi; To Invest Rs 20 Cr By 2010

ASUS Technology Pvt. Ltd., a part of the Taiwan-based ASUSTeK Computer, ASUS Opens Service Centre In Delhi; To Invest Rs 20 Cr By 2010has made announcement about the launching of its first exclusive service centre in New Delhi.

The company, that mainly provides notebook computers and smartphones in the Indian market, has decided to make an investment of around Rs 20 crore by 2010, as part of its service initiatives to offer up top-notch service to its clients.

While addressing a press meeting, ASUS General Manager (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa) Benson Lin stated, “We plan to set up an extensive service network. This year, ASUS plans to set up six more such exclusive centres — two each in Mumbai and Bangalore and one each in Kolkata and Chennai — to provide quality service to our customers.”

“The second Royal Club is expected to be opened in Bangalore by the end of August,” he added.

Informing that ASUS already set up a wide network of 187 service partners throughout the country in order to offer service for their products, Mr. Lin told that the company would be offering necessary training sessions regarding notebook hardware from ASUS service engineers to its clients who register their names at any of the ASUS Royal Clubs.

Moreover, clients who register themselves at the Royal Club within one month of its launching also get an added 3-months warranty on their ASUS products.

Mr. Lin also said, “The company also provides two years global warranty on all its notebooks and onsite service for its high-end notebook, the ASUS Lamborghini VX3. At these exclusive service centres, ASUS will provide free diagnosis for all brands’ laptops. This along with its toll free number, 1-800-2090-365, will also help provide efficient service to our customers.”
