Johannesburg, Sept 11 : Serena Williams' made her New York Fashion Week runway debut recently, which was attended by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The 32-year-old Tennis ace, who recently claimed her 3rd US Open title, beamingly said that Wintour's presence meant a lot since she was the "fashion's queen," and she hoped the fashion expert enjoyed the show, News24. com reported.

Williams, who showcased her Serena Williams Signature Statement Collection for the HSN Network, which included a sleeveless long sweatshirt with the letter 'S' on the front, zippered slinky mini-dresses, pants with a leopard print, faux fur jackets and jersey-knit dresses, and described her designs as "realistic and pumped up casual wear" which could be worn every day.

The sports star said she was most proud of her final runway plus-size model, as felt people of every size should "look good and feel good" and love themselves.

Williams' fashion show, which received a wild applause at its end, was attended by her fellow player and good friend Caroline Wozniacki, whom she defeated for her US Open trophy, along with her elder sister Venus Williams. (ANI)
