The cool Kerala beau Vidya Balan and Pradeep Sarkar recently patched up after a tiff over Vidya said ‘No’ to do his film ‘Laaga Chunri Mein Daag.’

Finally, Sarkar has broken the ice by giving Vidya a role in one of his forthcoming films.

Apparently this is the ‘perfect timing’ for a patch-up!

Pardeep Sarkar, fondly known as Dada, directed Vidya in about 25 advertisements and also launched her in Bollywood, with ‘Parineeta’, which brought her honors and rave reviews.

No wonder the director was really disappointed when his protégé Vidya refused his film for Sajid Khan’s ‘Heyy Babyy.’

An industry source said, “Vidya had tried to make up by calling Sarkar several times. He did not even take her calls, making it clear that he was angry.”

So, how come Sarkar had a change of heart?

The source also said, “While talking about Parineeta to a group of people, Sarkar could not help but praise Vidya’s contribution to the film’s success. It was then that he decided that it was high time to forget the past and move on.”

 “They spoke for a long time and Sarkar said that they should work together again. That’s when Vidya got emotional and even broke down on the phone,” the source added.

But now, Vidya is seen making trips to Sarkar’s office regularly and spending time with his wife, as some time ago.

When contacted, Vidya said that everything was fine between Sarkar and her right now.

“Dada and I are talking now. All is well between us. It had to be. Our bond was too strong to be broken by such a trifling matter,” she added.
