Akshay Wants To Shoot More Flicks In CanadaBollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is busy shooting romantic flick 'Thank You' in Canada, said that a sequel to his megahit film 'Singh is Kinng' would hit theatres by 2011.

The 'khiladi,' who has been selected as the brand ambassador of Canada's tourism in India till 2012, desires to shoot more flicks in Canada and even plans to spend more time in the country after his retirement.

The actor said that he would also shoot his own production "Breakaway" in Canada next month.

The 43-year-old actor, who has worked in more than 120 films, stated that he would "split my time between India and Canada" once he retires from his acting career.

The action star was chosen for the brand ambassador's role at the instigation of Canadian PM Stephen Harper, who met him in Mumbai during his visit to India last November, and Industry Minister Tony Clement.

Akki said that he feels lucky to officially promote this country in India.

According to him, Indian tourers prefer destinations such as New York, London, Bangkok or Los Angeles, but he will try to "put Canada on the map as a tourist destination for Indians" in his new role.

The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) has planned promotional campaigns for Akshay to encourage tourists from India.

Akshay, who was also given the honour of carrying the Winter Olympic Torch here last December, said Canada is a wonderful country. (With Inputs from Agencies)
