Smoking in public places has been banned by government long ago and strictly obeyed by common man but it looks like the law is exceptional for celebrities and VIP's.

Ajay Devgan was found lighting cigarette on his upcoming movie sets in Goa and anti tobacco teams have requested government to fine him for this. This is not the first time Ajay Devgan has done this. Earlier he was fined for the same reason i. e. smoking at a public place in Chandigarh.

Tobacco control department of Ministry of Health and Family is being objected to take serious action against Ajay as he is breaking rules regularly. Even some of the activists are arguing that he should be jailed for violating COPTA law frequently. And penalty should be 500 rupees for 1st time 5000 rupees for 2nd and 6 months jail for next in addition with the fine of 5000 rupees. Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were also pulled to court for encouraging tobacco directly or indirectly earlier.

Ajay Devgan is not the first offender in such case; Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi were also found smoking on their film sets in Margo, Goa.
